Alum Creek with Bridlewood Drive Bridge between Mayberry Drive and Truckee River
Alum Creek is a
Truckee River tributary. It runs down
along the Juniper Trails greenway at Caughlin Ranch and
continues between
Betsy Caughlin Donnelly Park and the
historic ranch house, before reaching the Truckee River.
The picture shows Alum Creek's final stretch north of Mayberry Drive.
A paved trail alongside the creek connects the park &
ranch house with the Truckee River: this trail meets the
Schiappacasse River Pathway.
The latter is a short section of the
Tahoe-Pyramid Bikeway between
Crissie Caughlin Park and the
Edgewater Parkway/Riverhaven Avenue junction.
