The Kienberg (335 ft, 102 m) is the
second highest elevation in Berlin.
Ascending the stairs to the observation platform of the
Wolkenhain tower, you will be at
about 394 ft (120 m) above sea level.
Skillfully planned, the Wolkenhain was built for the International
Garden Exhibition Berlin 2017 (IGA Berlin 2017) and offers a panoramic
view over the Kienbergpark and the
skyline of the twin-suburbs
Marzahn-Hellersdorf and Berlin including
the Brandenburg countryside.
The cloud platform is encircled by a
translucent membrane, such that hidden light sources can playfully
illuminate the cloud at night.
