View point off Clear Creek Trail

A view point just off Clear Creek Trail
This view point is located next to the upper section of the Clear Creek Trail between Knob Point and the trail crossing of Clear Creek. The short dead-end trail branching off Clear Creek Trail to the overlook is clearly marked. It is over eight miles away from the Clear Creek Trailhead along Jacks Valley Road and about 2.5 miles away from the northern trail end near the Highway 50/Tahoe Golf Club Drive junction. Arriving here and standing or sitting on rocks in a pine tree setting, you will enjoy the view downhill the valley of eastbound Clear Creek towards the outskirts of Carson City, Prison Hill and beyond.
