The front side of the Bückeburg Palace is facing the public palace courtyard, which is almost completely enclosed by castle buildings. The castle history spans more than 700 years. The palace architecure combines various styles including baroque and renaissance. The latter dominates the current appearance. The Princely family still lives in part of the palace, while other parts are open to visitors and available for special events.
